Buying Runescape Gold - Is It Safe?

Many players in Runescape choose to buy RS3 and RS2007 gold everyday.  On our website, we process up to 100-200 orders per day.  With all these people buying GP, it begs the question, is the process safe?

What I have found is that it begins with the company selling GP to keep the customer safe.  Many RS Gold shops simply do not take safety into consideration.  They sit in the Grand Exchange and trade literally thousands of times on the same account without moving location.  They use Chinese IP addresses and take no extra precautions to ensure customers will be safe following a trade.

You want to avoid these sites.  Chinese sites are notorious for being unsafe, and with good reason.  Jagex's system specifically targets Chinese IP addresses and computers.  Our company is not based in China, and we use a central PC in North America to conduct trades.  We change characters / IP address very often, so it becomes nearly impossible to pinpoint our characters.  This has resulted in very safe transactions for our customers; most of them have been using the same character to buy RS Gold for years.

However, the company selling GP can only do so much.  The customer must also take precautions after a trade to ensure their own safety.  Firstly, if you are buying gold, don't tell anybody in-game.  Seems obvious, but some people still make the mistake of telling others through Runescape that they have bought or sold gold.  Keep it to yourself!  Many people will get jealous and report you through the RS system.

Secondly, you go from ~0% risk when buying gold to much higher risk once you start selling gold.  If you are looking to sell your gold back to a shop, then just understand you are now taking a real risk with your account.  Jagex can and will ban people selling RS Gold.  If you are serious about keeping your character unbanned, resist the temptation to resell gold.  It's not worth the risk if you have spent years perfecting your character.

Finally, avoid using third party programs which you do not trust.  The use of macros / bots carries a real risk of ban, and can have your account flagged.  I'm not going to tell you what to do, but just understand that these programs increase the risk that your character will be temporarily banned from Runescape!

Good luck out there guys, you can find me online on our Live Support @ www.r2pleasent.com if you have any questions!

Runescape 3: Trade Limit Bypass Method

Jagex implemented trade limits on Runescape 3 in 2012.  Newly created RS characters could now only trade a maximum of ~50,000 Runescape Gold.  This could be removed by putting membership on the account you are using to trade.  This is a guide on how to get past the trade limits without membership.

On our website (www.r2pleasent.com), we sell a lot of RS3 Gold.  So we needed a way to get around the pesky trade limits.  Here's the method we use on trade limit characters right now:

#1: Find a safe place to drop trade

#2: The sender (person giving away the Gold) puts 100 Gold on the ground. Do not move away from where you dropped it.

#3: After dropping the small amount, drop the amount you really want to trade (10M GP for example)

#4: Now it will become one pile which can be picked up by the other player!

Using this method we have successfully traded 100's of billions of RS3 Gold.  We are the #1 Runescape Gold Seller, so check us out, and we hope this method helps!

Evolution of Combat - Nov 20

Well, you'd have to be living under a rock to have not heard about the upcoming changes to Runescape's Combat System.  I've seen a lot of people who are believe the updates will have a negative impact on gameplay, but I must disagree.  Runescape's current combat system (melee in particular) involves simply clicking once on an enemy in 1 vs 1 situations.  There is absolutely no complexity involved.  Magic has a slight amount more strategy involved, but really, it's all quite mundane.

EoC allows Runescape to implement a more action-based combat system.  I'd say it resembles that of Diablo III at the moment, where you have an action bar and use the 1-9 keys to select your desired type of attack or event.  If we consider the current Runescape system to be a 2/10 on the complexity scale, the EoC seems to be about a 5.  The outcry from the public implies this is going to be uber complicated... it isn't.  Only when compared to one-click attacking, where you could go out, have a smoke, come back, and figure out if you've won or lost, will you find anything much simpler than the new system.

Compare the new system to staking right now.  Players switch back and forth between Aggressive and Defensive style as they are hit, and deal hits.  This actually requires solid timing and constant changing.  I would rate Attack Style switching to be more difficult than the Evolution of Combat.  However, E.o.C. promises to be much more interesting and engaging than simply switching Attack Styles.

Runescape Gold prices are, for the moment, dropping in anticipation of the new updates.  This is because the market is uncertain as to whether or not the changes will increase the game's popularity.  We have still been getting consistent orders ourselves, but we've dropped our prices to compensate for the market shift in price.

Remember that we will be continuing to sell in the Evolution of Combat.  We are the world's #1 Runescape Gold Seller, with over 4 Trillion in sales since 2007.  Do not hesitate to use our Live Support (click here) or check the bottom of the page at www.r2pleasent.com
